Lost Places

We planned this trip for a long time. At last all organizational questions are solved, date is defined and... So 22, April in 7 AM, we take Evgenie Samoilov at Kyiv railway station and we go to the Zone.

In this reporting there are no sensational finds and any high level of radiation. But there is a fallen asleep nature which has prepared to the winter, the silent remains of town and the still river Pripyat.

This reporting has turned out not absolutely usual. Actually it consists of two absolutely different parts written by two different people, of the different age, living in different cities of Ukraine and friends exclusively by the forum on pripyat.com

I was not in a city from the beginning of summer and have started missing it a little. All the summer long we with Natasha travelled around on the Zone, but for Pripyat somehow there was no time... Therefore, when one week before a trip Sasha Sirota has called me and told - "Lets go to Pripyat", I did not deliberate a second: certainly we will go!
